Admin Guide
Welcome to the Turno Admin Guide. This documentation covers every tool and workflow available to clinic administrators and front-desk staff. Whether you are managing the daily calendar, configuring clinic settings, or automating patient communications, this guide provides the step-by-step instructions you need.
Who is this guide for?
This guide is designed for users with Admin or Staff roles in Turno. These are typically:
- Clinic coordinators who oversee daily scheduling and patient flow
- Front-desk staff who book appointments, handle insurance, and manage patient check-ins
- Clinic managers who configure system settings, onboard providers, and review performance metrics
Provider-specific workflows (viewing your own schedule, managing your agenda) are documented separately in the Provider Guide.

The Admin Guide is organized into the following sections, each mapping to a core area of the Turno platform:

| Clinic Settings | Configuration, providers, services, staff, teams, and insurance management |
| Patients | Patient profiles, history, document management, and behavioral analytics |
| Satisfaction | Automated patient surveys, performance dashboards, and comment review |

Key concepts
Before diving in, familiarize yourself with these Turno-specific terms:
- Sobreturno (Squeeze-in): An appointment booked outside a provider's normal schedule, visible in a special row at the top of the calendar.
- Copago Plus: An additional out-of-pocket fee required by certain insurance plans. The system displays an orange alert when this applies.
- Lista de Espera (Waitlist): An automated queue that notifies patients when a slot opens up due to a cancellation or reschedule.
- Novedades (Updates): The audit log that records every action taken in the system.
Keep this guide bookmarked. It reflects the latest Turno features and is updated alongside platform releases.
